We believe great writing needs the opportunity to be heard. Our adult education programmes give writers the skills, confidence and connections to develop their work and take the next step towards the professional theatre industry.
Adult Scriptwriting Workshops 18+
Our free online and in-person courses support both first-time and experienced writers. Led by industry professionals, these workshops develop skills, confidence and new voices — with many scripts going on to be showcased at the INK Festival.
Criterion Theatre New Writing Partnership
Through our partnership with Criterion New Writing in London’s West End, eight INK writers are selected each year for further mentoring and development, creating a valuable pathway into the wider theatre industry.
UEA Creative Writing Partnership
Since 2015 INK has partnered with the University of East Anglia to create pathways into the theatre industry for the next generation of artists.
Through this partnership, students studying creative writing, drama, directing and technical theatre have the opportunity to gain professional experience, earn their first industry credits and take their first steps towards a career in theatre.
By connecting emerging talent with a professional producing environment, INK supports students to develop their skills, build confidence and experience the creative process from page to stage.
